Dan has over 30 years of experience as a WASH specialist. For the past 20 years he has been a freelance consultant. Prior to that he was employed in a diverse range of organisations, including academia, engineering consultancy, water and sanitation utilities, government, and a cooperative research centre.

He brings expertise in catchment and source water management, monitoring, biological wastewater treatment, environmental microbiology, and process and water quality management. Dan typically works collaboratively as part of cross-sectoral multi-discipline teams, including water utilities and industry, regulators, researchers, modellers, and community organisations.

Water Futures provides holistic and environmentally responsible water science and management solutions that safeguard public health, preserve ecosystems, and promote resilience in the face of water-related challenges.
